Intermediate River Trip
The Wapiti Whitewater Kayak club is running a 4 day intermediate trip. Participants should be comfortable in class 2+ to 3 whitewater with a fairly consistant moving water roll. Discuss with instructors if unsure.
When:
Aug 4th-7th 2026
Start time: 0700 at Muskoseepi Sheds
End time: Evening Aug 7th. TBD based on river run that morning. Will have a 2 hour drive so parents can be notified in advance of aproximate eta home.
Rivers: Red Deer(Sundre area), Brierlies(RMH) Sulphur(Grande Cache) – Water dependant
Cost: $350
Includes Transportation, Campsites, Instructors, Food
Extras: Bring cash for two meals. Drive down and drive back will be at fast food restaraunts.
Private A-Frame Cabin (First 2 nights) = $40 addon (otherwise will be in a group cabin (sleeps 8) or converted bus (sleeps 5).
Bring: Camping gear, kayaking gear, Anything you want for off-grid/no service campsite (Sundre, 2 nights)
